Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is included with your venue?
A: We include set up and break down of tables and chair, all dishes, glassware, silverware, black spandex chair covers, and a choice of linen and napkin colors. In The Clubhouse we include a built-in 12 x 22 dance floor, two 70" and one 40" TV monitors for a slideshow. In The Cave we provide café string lighting, a firepit, and s'mores for your guests to enjoy.
Q: Can we bring in our own food?
A: All catering does have to be in-house with the exception of dessert. With both plated and buffet style options, and our extensive menu, we are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions.
Q: Do we get to have a food tasting prior to our event?
A: Yes, The Aerie invites all of our booked wedding couples to a complimentary wedding showcase and tasting.
Q: What is included in your bar service?
A: Our bar fee covers up to 5 hours of service, one bartender, standard set-up and break-down of glassware, and liability insurance in compliance with OLCC requirements.
Q: Does The Aerie provide reception music and sound equipment?
A: The Aerie is equipped with an overhead sound system for background dinner music in the Grand Ballroom and foyer. We can play a CD or plug in a phone to the AUX cord. Our system is not intended for dancing mixes and we highly suggest hiring a DJ if you do want dancing at your event. Our Marquee Tent and Bellevue Garden are not equipped with sound systems. We recommend bringing in a DJ for these areas.

A: Our bar service runs for 5 hours. Food must be present in order for the bar to open per OLCC guidelines. Our bar will stop serving alcohol 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure.
Q: Can we bring in our own bartender?
A: No, we have highly trained staff on site and our liability insurance doesn't allow any outside bartenders.
Q: Can we bring in our own alcohol to be served at the bar?

Q: Can we have a signature cocktail?
A: Yes! Signature cocktail recipes have to be approved by our Food and Beverage Manager no less than 1 month prior to your event.
Q: Does The Aerie provide the tapping system for kegs?
A: We provide all tapping systems for kegs purchased through us. If you are bringing in your own keg, you must provide the appropriate tapping system.
Q: When do we drop off alcohol if we are bringing it in?
A: Alcohol can be dropped off on the day of your wedding at the start of your contracted hours. Kegs must be chilled prior to arrival.
Q: What happens if we don't go through all the alcohol we purchased?
A: A reimbursement check for the full value of what was not consumed will be mailed to you 30 days after your event.
Q: Do we have to host a full bar?
A: No, you can decide if you would like to host a dollar amount, a length of time, a specific drink, or a set number of drinks per person. We would be happy to work with you on customizing bar options that fits your needs and budget.
